ARIA TV specializes in television programming for children through original children's television series and movies, as well as third-party programming. With programming in English and Dari it is the only Afghan station marketing exclusively to young children, teenagers and young adults. Currently covering Kabul, ARIA TV was launched in 2010.
Over the next several months coverage will be expanded to Balkh, Herat, Kandahar and Nangarhar, with plans to be broadcast via satellite within one year. The coverage expansion will directly assist to increase the viewership, as approximately 50% of the Afghan population resides in these provinces.
ARIA TV, along with its production arm, broadcasts some of the most popular children’s programming in the world. We designed our programming schedule to specifically target an impressionable demographic from 2-25 years old. The majority of our programming is in English, as we see television as the ultimate training medium to assist the population in learning a globally-spread language at a young age.
